New Year, New Post(s)

Pretty much every blogger has a new years resolution blog. I’m sorry to say that this post will be no different.

My new years resolution is to blog. To post honest to goodness posts a minimum of once a week for the next 52 weeks. While this doesn’t seem so hard, it has been for me. You see I blog for a living. As in for a company, which pays me good money to blog (and manage a website, email marketing, social media, etc, etc, etc.) So when I get home from work the last thing I want to do is jump on my computer and blog.

The thing is, I love it. I love to post my ideas, cooking and travels. And Google analytics tells me you all enjoy reading them. So here is to a new year with new posts!

Busy Little Knitting Bee!

I’ve been knitting my heart out lately – inspired by Spring and the new possibilities of  garments and accessories that can actually be cute and not just warm.

Here is my latest creation -

Called wrist warmers, texting gloves, fingerless gloves, etc, etc, etc…

These are super cute and ready for spring in a bright lime green.

Love them as much as I do?

I am selling them on etsy!

Purchase them here

Or, email me and I will make them in your favorite Spring color.

I love them.

Did I mention that I love them?

I hope that you love them too!

Back with the Cowl!

I’ve been a little lax on the knitting lately. My other blog Kzoo Kitchen has taken over most of my attention and I’ve been a little busy at work (even though I only work part time).

Knitting is one of my passions and I really wish there were more hours in the day. I know I better get to it since before I know it, summer will be here and between activities and the warm weather knitting ain’t gonna be at the top of my list.

I absolutely love this cowl and it was a pleasure to make. I’d love to keep it, but I know that the boyfriend would kill me since I already have about 45 scarfs. Really.

This is a beautiful hand knit cowl in a variation of a basket weave pattern.

It is incredibly soft, made with Bamboo Yarn which is 77% Bamboo and 23% Polyamide. Because of this, it is not to be washed or dry cleaned, spot cleaned only. Perfect for those allergic to wool

Find this cowl in my Etsy store!
